A bunch of beasts lay ahead. Emery didn't even bother looking at what kind they were. He just brandished his knife and struck down multiple times.
Thin blade lights shot down and fell on the beasts in front. They were split into multiple pieces without having the chance to react.
Elyn came up a few metres behind him and spun around. A silvery energy appeared around her fist as she punched forward. The energy moved to briefly form the image of a dragon that destroyed everything in its path.
The dragon fist crashed into all the beasts that got in their way, killing all of them in the blink of an eye.
Several notifications from the system flooded him all at once. So much so that he wondered whether he could turn them off.
Wouldn't want to get distracted in an important fight. However, he refrained from doing that. There could always be an important notification from that.
