At first, Emery didn't know where the skill came from, but after thinking it over a few more times, he remembered that it was one of the newer skills the mongoose had gained after it got injured by that Amelia woman.
That was also where it got the Jade Armour skill.
His brows furrowed a little. Of course, he was happy that the little critter got a new skill to add to the arsenal, but the implications were a little strange. He struggled to make any sense of it.
At first, he thought the mongoose was going on a more balanced path, but he appeared wrong.
'It should have something to do with why he's called a Jade-eyed Mongoose,'
For now, he decided to ignore it and play it off.
"Who knew this little drunkard had such a useful power," he murmured.
He began to think of the dozens of implications of the power. They could scare off weaker, unwanted beasts, or potentially stronger ones.
