After going back and forth a few more times, they were finally able to get all the platters and trays in front of everyone that Kareem brought. The food wasn't enough, clearly. Several people were limited to one at a time, and only the people inside could have multiple to themselves.
That was evident. The top of the food chain got the most food, after all. Emery was a pacifist, not an idiot.
A bunch of sweat rolled down Dillon's forehead as he finished with the work. The chef gave him an obvious look of disdain when he noticed that.
"Will you calm down a little? I doubt that was enough work to elicit that kind of reaction from you, drama queen!"
"Hey don't call me that!"
Dillon agreed with him, though. The quantity of scale of work wasn't much, but the sheer unfamiliarity he had with it was just plain annoying and easy to notice.
