The interior of the small restaurant couldn't contain a lot of people, so most of Kareem's lackeys had to stay outside. Only he and a few key followers were permitted to stay inside.
Emery could not care either way.
Before he went in to cook the food, though, he moved over to Kareem to tell him something.
"By the way, you still have to pay for the food."
The man didn't care much for that and only nodded. Seeing that there was no initial objection, Emery nodded and went to the kitchen to begin cooking.
Oddly enough, Dillon followed.
"Why are you coming with me?" he asked.
The kid shrugged slightly, "I'm just a little curious."
It probably wasn't anything important, but he was a bit reluctant to share his skills in front of the kid. Dillon clearly wasn't ordinary, so unlike other people, there was a big chance that he would recognize what Emery did while cooking.
