"EEEEK! What's that foul monster doing here?!" the kid yelled loudly, as he hid.
He pointed straight at the chicken in his fear. He realized what he had done and quickly pulled his hand back.
Dillon peeked out from behind Emery with a deep look of hatred on his face. The chef looked between Clucky and the boy. Was there something between them? Did Dillon know Clucky from somewhere?
He looked a little deeper and noticed the weird expression that the chicken wore on his face.
Between both reactions, he didn't know what to be sure of. So, he decided to ask in the hope of an answer.
"Dillon, do you know Clucky?"
The boy quickly shook his head, too quickly to be true.
"Is that what you call this beat?! Err, I mean no! N-not at all! I haven't ever seen that thing a day in my life!"
That lie was so obvious that absolutely anyone would be able to tell at first listen.
