Chapter 87 - Crazy Kid

Dillon's golden eyes visibly changed when Emery dropped the plate in front of him, but he tried to maintain a calm expression and visibly failed.

The chef smirked slightly upon seeing that.

"Come on, just dig in already. I know you want to,"

"Nuh-uh!"

"Stop being such a kid," he rolled his eyes.

"That's because I am one!"

The kid was still a kid in the end. He watched the steam bouncing off the yellow-golden scrambled eggs and was unable to hold back any longer. He grabbed the fork by the side of the plate and picked one piece of egg up.

Reds, yellows, greens and a distinctive purple decorated the golden colour, giving the dish a more mysterious look.

He observed it for a while, struggling to hide the slobber falling down his lips. Seems like he hadn't eaten in the day before this.

'Where did he come from anyway? He managed to enter without alerting my senses. In the blink of an eye as well,'
