Aside from the traumatizing event that just happened, Emery was relatively fine. He went back to the shop and everything was still 'intact'. It was still as wrecked as it was a few minutes ago, but at the very least it wasn't worse than it already worse.
The first thing he wanted to do was address the thing Freya had talked about. The most effective way to do that would be to go out hunting, but he wasn't very keen on leaving the shop unattended again.
If he did so, he deserved to have it wrecked.
But it wasn't as if he could just let the problem fester as is. So he had to make a compromise for the time being.
Emery made his decision after much thought. He would close the shop while he went out with Elyn and maybe Kyle. He wasn't sure if he wanted to take the latter along since it would defeat the purpose.
'I guess I can take him along. He can hunt by himself while I try to hunt with her,'
