After everything the Parton Brothers had given to him, Emery could not be more excited for Romano to come back inside.
He didn't expect that much from Romano if he had to be honest. The handsome man looked rather destitute. The Parton Brothers were direct subordinates of Hemp, so it made sense that they had those types of assets on hand.
It was a completely different story for Romano, though.
Emery could bet with 90% confidence that the payment he was going to receive from Romano was information. It was as plain as day to him.
But anything still counted. He didn't mind lowering his bar a little for Romano.
However, he still had to wait a considerable amount before any of that could even happen. Three hours passed rather slowly, and he had to find other ways to occupy himself.
And the most obvious thing to do was to question the system a bit.
