Chapter 86 - Dillon

Emery was once again driven into a state of shock, but he gathered himself. The kid spoke in a really proud tone, like he owned everything. However, he wasn't going to let himself be pushed around just like that.

"No," he shook his head, "You tell me who you are first, and I could cook for you. I don't have anything against that."

"Why should I have to do that?"

"Because it's only right. I am the one cooking for you, in my shop, and for free at that. I don't want any payment. Just tell me your name."

"Full name?" the brown-haired kid asked. He sounded very worried about the prospect of revealing his last name.

"Nah, just your first name."

The kid fell into thought. He seemed rather used to having his way on matters, so clearly this must have come as something of a shock to him.

After a while, he managed to swallow his pride and answer.

"Dillon," he said.
