Emery took Elyn to his room.
It was easy for one's mind to wander when something like that was said, but it truly wasn't for anything suspicious. He took Elyn to his room because they needed somewhere quiet to talk.
Kyle and the beasts would soon return, so that was the most convenient place he could think of.
No one could step into Emery's room without permission, but anyone could walk into the main shop area just like that or anywhere else for that matter. It wasn't as if his kitchen was off-limits too.
They could still walk in just as easily, so this was the best place for him to go to.
"What was it you wanted to talk about?" he asked slowly.
It was a bit out of the blue. He had decided that he was the one going to approach her to talk about what happened between them, but he didn't expect that she would have the initiative to do it first.
