Chereads / King Of Necromancer / Chapter 29 - Emma Hall

Chapter 29 - Emma Hall

Avi quickly brought a healing potion from the store opened the unconscious girl's mouth and poured all the potion inside her mouth.

The girl had beautiful long black hair, she also had a delicate face and she seemed to be in her early twenties.

It took a few seconds to girl wake up so turned his attention back to the orc and his three skeleton goblin minion.

From what Avi could tell there was no way that his G-rank skeleton would be a match for the Orc who seems to be an F-class monster.

But with the help of Hudra's venom fang, and Avi's dagger, the movement of the orc is slow right now.

It's paralysed the orc but that monster was moving its body by sheer willpower.

[Effect:-Bleed has been activated.]

[The opponent will lose 1% health every second.]

As the orc struggled against the effects of paralysis, the additional activation of the "Bleed" effect intensified the challenge it faced. The orc's health began to dwindle steadily, every second contributing to its weakening state.

Avi, maintaining a cautious distance, watched as the orc's movements became more laboured. The coordinated efforts of his skeleton goblin minions further pressed the advantage.

With the orc distracted by the relentless assault of the skeletons, Avi seized the moment to check on the unconscious girl. He observed as colour returned to her face, signs of life returning with each passing second.

"Good, the healing potion worked," Avi muttered under his breath, relieved to see the girl regaining consciousness.

-ROAR

-Swoosh!

[The opponent's resistance was too high! The Effect was cancelled.]

With a powerful roar, the orc managed to break down the effect of my dagger. A shockwave comes as the dark energy gathers around the orc.

'The effect didn't last long because Orc was strong' Avi thought as he saw Rampage trying to destroy his skeleton goblins.

"umm."

At that moment the unconscious girl began to wake up catching the attention of the Avi.

"Are you okay? My name is Avi. I'm here to help," he said, his attention divided between the girl and the mad orc.

The girl, still groggy from her ordeal, looked at Avi with a mix of confusion and gratitude. Her eyes widened at the chaotic scene unfolding around her, the clash between Avi's minions and the enraged orc.

"Thank you," she mumbled, trying to sit up. Avi extended his hand to help her, keeping a vigilant eye on the raging orc. The skeleton goblins, despite their best efforts, were facing the brute force of the orc's rampage.

The orc, now fully engaged in a berserk frenzy, swung its massive axe wildly, aiming at the skeleton goblins. Avi, realizing the immediate danger to his minions, issued a mental command.

"Retreat!"

The skeleton goblins swiftly disengaged, evading the orc's attacks with surprising agility. However, the orc's focus shifted to Avi as he tried to protect the girl.

With a thunderous roar, the orc charged at Avi, its eyes filled with a primal rage. Avi, knowing he couldn't match the orc's strength in direct combat, relied on his agility. He dodged the first swing of the orc's axe but stumbled as he avoided the second.

The orc's axe grazed Avi's side, leaving a deep cut. Gritting his teeth against the pain, Avi retaliated by thrusting Hydra's venom feng at the orc's leg.

[Paralyze] - The dagger's effect took hold once again, slowing the orc's movements.

Avi, taking advantage of the opportunity, directed the skeleton goblins to attack from different angles. The orc, now partially paralyzed, struggled to defend against the coordinated assault.

Amid the chaos, the girl, regaining her strength, Avi quickly uses the shadow step ability and appears next to her.

"Escape quickly!"

At Avi's urging the girl quickly stood up and ran inside of the forest, Avi was also one step behind her.

By this time effect of [Paralayze] also comes to an end, Orc notices that his prey getting away road again and dashes toward them.

However, a skeleton stood in his way.

Hhhhheeh—-

Looking at the skeleton, the orc sneered. It seemed that the orc thought the skeleton was a piece of cake given that it had massacred numerous goblins until now.

Like it did before, the orc unleashed a strong blow onto the skeleton.

But it didn't work this time.

The moment the orc's axe clashed with the skeleton bone club, it slid off as if it had tried to cut an oily wall.

'Kick it!'

Seizing the chance, Avi issued an order. The skeleton then pushed the orc's upper body with its short leg, and the monster fell down the stairs.

It was a truly moving moment for the skeleton, which had been kicked around until now, to kick a monster back.

"Hey, what's your name?" Avi shouted as they ran.

The beautiful girl turned her head toward him and said "Emma, My name is Emma Hall."

"I see, climb up here! Let's move to a flat place first!"

It was dangerous for them to confront such a tall and resilient monster in a rugged place. In particular, there was no space to retreat with the stair topography like this.

"Damn it!"

Although she clashed with the orc only once, her right hand was trembling hard. It was not because she was scared or hurt, but because she was upset.

'Obviously,y I blocked its attack, but how could I lose consciousness like that?'

She felt like it was unfair. She once again felt a sense of deprivation caused by the innate physical differences, which she had felt all the time as a female.

"Hurry up follow me" shouted Avi. He was moving into the woods with the skeletons to block the orc's movement with lots of obstacles.

"...Whew, got it!"

Catching her breath, she followed him into the woods. She had almost forgotten the most important lesson: survival was not competition.

In no time the giant monster walked up the stairs with big strides, then found Avi's party staring at it from the trees. There was a murderous look in its eyes.
