Chapter 4 - Princess Jasmine

He noticed her tensed expression and chuckled at once. The wrinkles that lined her forehead revealed the worries that weighed heavily on her mind. But somehow, her tension only made him find her even more endearing.

"Are you really a princess? Are you possessed or something? How can there be any useless princess?", he mocked at her and laughed.

"Who are you saying useless?", she got angry at once.

"Is there anyone, other than you?", he asked and raised an eyebrow skeptically.

"You!", she stomped her feet in angry.

"Little girl, ask yourself, how many things you fear? You even afraid of maids.", he didn't affected by her angry and said calmly.

"Little girls are all afraid of anything.", she righteously justified.

"But, you're also a princess. You should be chivalrous.", he said.

"Do you think, I don't want to be?", she asked him.

"Face your fears bravely. Show your hand.", he commanded her softly.

She stretched her hands and showed him. He touched her wrist with his index finger. As his finger touched her wrist a warm red light spread through and nine crimson red petals circled around her wrist. A refresh fragrance filled the room. After they circled round her wrist for nine times, they changed into beads and connected through the warm red light. After a while, a bead bracelet clung around her wrist. The shape of beads were exactly like the petals and a little bit of fragrance lingered around her.

"This...", she looked at the bracelet cautiously.

"Ah, this is blood petals bracelet. It will save your life in critical situations.

"Blood petals? But its smell is not like blood.", she asked him.

"Blood petals, I came up with the name because of its crimson red color. Aren't I creative?", he chuckled and said with a smug expression.

She looked at the ceiling of the room, then she looked at the bracelet and examined it carefully.

As she was examining the bracelet, a maid came in without knocking the door.

"Princess Jasmine! King summoned you." She said casually behind the door like she was talking to another maid and left at once.

"What the hell! No one respects me.", she stomped her feet on the ground.

"Little girl, if someone wants you to respect you you have to be capable.", he said to her.

"How can I become capable?", however she was a little girl, so the innocence in her query was apparent.

"Expand your knowledge. Study hard, practice horse riding, bow and arrows, everything you can. So that you can be both capable and useful.", he said after a while of thought.

"Oh.", she nodded her head again and again.

"Oh, I have to go to uncle's palace. But, I have to get ready presentable. That damn maid! I'll bake her in a campfire.", she continuously complained for a while.

"It's not that hard. Little girl, what's your favorite color?", he asked as he laughed.

"My favorite color... Umm... White.", she contemplated for a long time before the answer.

"Now close your eyes.", he said.

She closed her eyes and a cooling sensation spread through her forehead.

"Alright, you can open your eyes.", he calmly said.

Adorned in a white long dress, she looked like an ethereal dream. The fabric seemed to capture the essence of a serene sky, as if the clouds had drifted down and kissed her gown with delicate silver threads and beads. The design was an intricate masterpiece, showcasing the artistry and skill that went into its creation.

Her long hair, like cascading waves of black silk, fell gracefully down her slender back. It glistened under the gentle rays of the sun, reflecting a mesmerizing shine. Tied neatly with a jade white ornament, the hair ribbon added a touch of charm and elegance to her appearance.

She couldn't help but feel a surge of happiness, as if the dress mirrored the joy within her. With every gentle sway, she felt as though she could walk among the heavens. The mirror revealed a version of herself that was filled with grace, elegance, and an untamed spirit.
