Chapter 3 - Chapter 3- The Era Of Peace

October 26, 1683

H.A. Calendar or known as The Era Of Peace

The Era of Peace had lasted for over 200 years, a time of unity and prosperity for Humans, Elves, and Dragons. This peaceful age was earned after the Great War when these three races joined forces to defeat the Demon Race, a powerful group that once terrorized the world. Together, they pushed the demons out and turned their lands into the Land of Avalon—a place of balance and order.

Avalon was a large continent shared by different races. Humans ruled four strong kingdoms, while the Elves had one large, beautiful kingdom. The Dragon Race, ancient and respected, ruled two kingdoms, just as big as the Human lands. Across Avalon, other creatures like goblins, wolves, and trolls lived in the wild. There were also intelligent beings like fairies, who lived in the Forest of Aspian within the Elven Kingdom, and dwarves, who lived among both Humans and Elves, known for their skills in crafting.

Leo Reinhardt woke up to a world that felt both familiar and strange. The busy streets of Phyrus Land, a peaceful and prosperous place ruled by his family, were full of life. As he stepped outside with his parents, people greeted him warmly and asked about his health. It was then that Leo realized how much the people loved and respected his family.

The Reinhardts were loved not for their power but for their kindness and honesty. Leo's father, Simon Reinhardt, was a man of great honor who brought peace and happiness to their land. But as Leo walked among the people, a deep fear grew inside him—memories from another life haunted him.

Leo had lived this life before, in another timeline. He remembered the disaster that destroyed his family, the horrors that took their lives and left him in darkness. But this time was different. This time, he had been given a second chance.

As they walked through the town, Leo's mother, Claudia, looked at him with concern. "Leo, did you have fun today?" she asked softly.

"Yes, Mother," Leo replied, forcing a smile. "It was wonderful."

Claudia sighed, her eyes filling with tears. "It reminds me of when you and your sister were little. But Leo, you must be careful. I can't bear to see you like that again—unconscious for weeks, months… years. Promise me, you'll take care of yourself."

Leo nodded, his heart heavy. "I promise, Mother," he said, but inside, he knew the truth. He couldn't guarantee her safety, but he would do everything in his power to protect her smile, even if it meant risking his life.

As the sun set and the town grew darker, Leo made a silent vow. *I won't let history repeat itself. I've been given this chance, and I'll use it to protect my family, no matter what.*

That night, as darkness covered the land, Leo lay awake, the weight of his memories heavy on him. He knew what was coming—on September 5, 1688, the night of his sister Rose's 21st birthday, a great disaster would strike. A dragon, fierce and unstoppable, would attack, and in his previous life, it had destroyed everything he loved.

But this time, he was determined to be ready.

*How can I defeat a dragon?* Leo thought. His parents, both powerful mage and swordman, couldn't even kill the dragon. To succeed where they had failed, Leo knew he would need to reach the level of a seven-star spearmanship, something that seemed almost impossible given his current abilities.

Yet, Leo had something that gave him an advantage—he knew what was going to happen. He knew the future, the challenges he would face, and the steps he needed to take to overcome them.

*I have five years,* he thought, *but I need to start now.*

Leo began to make a plan. He would train harder than ever before, pushing his body and mind to their limits. He would seek out knowledge, allies, and maybe even ancient weapons that could help him in his quest. And most importantly, he would find a way to outsmart the dragon—something his past self had never thought of.

*I know the future,* Leo reminded himself, *and that is my greatest advantage.*

With new determination, Leo closed his eyes and let sleep take him. Tomorrow, his journey would begin—one that would test him in ways he could hardly imagine. But he was ready to face whatever came his way, for the sake of those he loved.

As the first light of dawn broke, Leo knew that this time, things would be different.
