Phyrus Land
"Whaaaaaat!?"
A sudden scream echoed through Leo's room, jolting him from his thoughts. The shock of returning to a time long past was overwhelming, but before he could process it, the door to his room swung open.
Leo's heart raced as his eyes fell upon the familiar faces of his family. His breath caught in his throat, and tears welled up in his eyes. There they were, alive and well, as if the horrors of the past had never occurred.
Simon Reinhardt – 39 years old, Leo's father.
Claudia Reinhardt – 37 years old, Leo's mother.
Rose Reinhardt – 16 years old, Leo's sister.
"Leo, you're awake!" Claudia cried out, tears streaming down her face as she rushed to his side. "Simon, our son is awake!"
Leo, who had fallen into a coma after a near-fatal encounter with trolls at the age of eight, had been unconscious for two long years. His family had feared they would never see him open his eyes again. Now, seeing him awake and alert, they couldn't hold back their emotions. Leo, overwhelmed by the sight of his family, burst into tears and threw himself into their arms, clinging to them as though they might vanish at any moment.
But the surge of emotions was too much for him to bear. The reality of dying, returning to the past, and now being reunited with his loved ones was more than his fragile state could handle. His vision blurred, and the world went dark as he lost consciousness again.

**A Week Later**
Leo awoke in his bed, his mind slowly piecing together the events that had transpired. He still couldn't fathom how or why he had returned to this time. But one thing was clear to him: the *Spear of Lightning* must have had something to do with it.
"But whose voice was that?" he pondered aloud. "Was it the Spear's?"
He needed to find answers. Just as he was deep in thought, a knock came at his door.
"Who is it?" Leo asked, his voice tinged with anticipation.
"It's me," came Rose's familiar voice.
Hearing her voice, Leo's heart ached. In his previous life, he hadn't seen his sister again after the tragic events that unfolded when he was fifteen. Now, hearing her on the other side of the door, he vowed silently, *I will become stronger to protect my family and surpass my previous self.*
When the door opened, Leo was greeted by Rose's beautiful, smiling face. The sight nearly brought him to tears once more.
"Are you feeling better?" she asked, concern in her voice.
"Y-yes," Leo stammered.
"Don't worry," Rose reassured him. "The doctor said you'll make a full recovery if you keep eating properly."
"Ah, yes. Thank you, sis."
After a moment's hesitation, Rose asked, "Um... Can I hug you?"
"What? Oh... Yes, of course," Leo replied, his voice cracking.
Rose embraced him with a joyful smile, and Leo couldn't help but feel the same warmth he had known in his previous life. They had always been close, playing together as children, with their father Simon, who loved cute things, often joining in. Their mother, Claudia, was usually the one to scold them for their antics, but it was all in good fun. They were a happy, joyful family—until that fateful day, September 5th, 1688, Rose's birthday.
That night, a dragon attacked Phyrus Land, annihilating nearly all of its inhabitants. Simon, a six-star swordsman, and Claudia, a five-star mage, couldn't protect their home from the beast's onslaught. Both of them perished in the attack.
Leo had awoken the next morning, his body covered in bandages. Panicked, he ran outside the camp, where a guard stopped him.
"What happened? Where is my family?" Leo demanded.
The guard's expression was grim. "All the humans in Phyrus Land were killed last night, except for you."
Leo's heart shattered as he broke down in tears. But then the guard added something that sparked a glimmer of hope in his heart.
"There's still no trace of Rose Reinhardt, so we can't confirm if she died."
This revelation gave Leo a reason to live. It was the beginning of his journey—a journey that ended tragically, without him ever finding his sister. And those responsible for his misery, Haydn de Pierce and Aaron Ashford, who had denied him even the chance to see Rose again, had been the ones to kill him.

**One Week Later**
Leo could now walk, though his body remained pale and weak. Determined to change his fate, he began training in secret, pushing his body to regain its strength without his family's knowledge.
**Two Weeks Later**
Leo could walk normally again, his strength slowly returning as he continued his isolated training.
**One Month Later**
Leo's body had fully recovered after a month of intense self-training. Finally, he was ready to rejoin his family, determined to protect them from the horrors that had claimed them before.
He opened the door to his room and descended the stairs.
"Huh? Leo, why are you here? Go back to your room—wait, you can walk now? Mom!! Leo can walk!" Rose shouted in excitement.
Simon and Claudia rushed downstairs, overjoyed to see their son walking again. They embraced him tightly, tears of happiness flowing freely.
Rose, still in shock, could only stare at her brother in disbelief.
"So, you can walk now, huh?" Simon said, a broad smile on his face.
"Now that you're better, we can all eat together and play outside," Claudia added, her voice filled with warmth.
Leo smiled, his heart swelling with joy at the sight of his family's happiness.
"Thank you... Mom, Dad, and Rose," he whispered, grateful for this second chance.
