Chapter 109 - Chapter 109

She would have. Done everything within her power to ensure her survival.

Even if it. Meant that she would have to sacrifice the rest of her classmates in order for her to be able to do so.

That wasn't something that she was bothered about.

On fact it only confirmed the fact that they wouldn't have been of much use to her and that eventually she would have to give them up or finds a way to sacrifice them in order for her to protect herself.

It was the survival of the fittest and the whole point of the exercise and the course was to see how one could survive in the wild.

She was using her team in a different way and he wouldn't blame her if she was willing to put them on the front lines to ensure that she was able to. Get out of there unscathed and that she was able to save her own skin.

He had expected that as he read through the report that he would finds out. The process that she went about to protect herself.

However he was surprised when there was no mention of tina in the report.

It concluded that she was the only one of the lucky few that were able to get away. That was something that he couldn't help but feel unsettled by.

He knew that couldn't be right and he knew that he knew his daughter all too well and in the end she wasn't going to pass up any opportunity in order for her to be able to upstage others.

He could tell that there was something that wasn't right.

It played her out to be meek and almost invisible and was more focused about the boy that had seemed to lose his mind,.

It was then that he knew that there was something thar wasn't quite right about the report.

He knew that it wasn't written by someone who was aware of the real situation that had occurred either that or it was written in such a way to push a certain image.

He knew then at that moment that the report wasn't real.

Someone must have twisted it and changed some of the text in order to make it seem one way,.

However one thing that he didn't understand either was why anyone would go out of their way in order to do that.

It seemed that the only plausible explanation for it was that the report had been fabricated by someone but what was even more confusing was the question as to why someone would consider doing that.

He had to get to the bottom of it and he had to find the person who was responsible.

He needed someone to come and explain to him what had happened and why the report had been twisted in such a way.

He decided to look more into the program and he found a certain Ms. Mary.

She was the teacher who was the initial teacher who was in charge of the students.

He went to the school to meet up with her as he came to a stop in front of her office.

he had no time for pleasantries. And he didn't waste time before pulling the door open.

He watched as she lifted her gaze up top look at him as she stared at him with her eyes wide open.

She gulped as she realized who it was and she straightened herself up in her seat.

"Mr. Guderian. How can I help you." She said to him. He gritted his teeth as he stepped further into the room.

"What happened at the internship and how is it that my daughter was put in danger." He said to her in a harsh tone.

He watched as she shivered slightly in her spot out of fear befo0re adjusting herself in her seat.

He held a lot of power at the academy and she knew that one wrong. Move on her part could get her fired and that wasn't something she was willing to risk.

She didn't know what to tell him but from the disaster of the internship she knew that she would have to choose her words wisely.

However her gaze flickered towards the file that was in his hands for a moment.

"Well the academy gave you a report. It is supposed to be the one that gives you a full comprehensive summary of everything that happened." She said to him.

She watched as a deep frown appeared on his features.

He took the file before he slammed it down harshly on thew table.

"I have read the report but I know that this is a lie and the contents of it are far from the truth. I am done reading the lies so how about someone around here start telling me the truth." He said to her.

He watched as her eyes widened before she sucked in as deep breath.

"That wasn't a suggestion. I am asking you nicely now but when I ask again it won't be as a question and I will ensure that you aren't going to like the outcome." He said to her in a warning tone as he waged a pointed finger in front of her face.

"I am sorry sir but what can I say. I wasn't the one who was around with the students for the most part of the trip." She said to him and she couldn't help but gulp as she took in the dark look on his eyes and she could tell that his words were true.

"Well. Whose fault is it that you have to leave. Let us not forget the fact that it was you that was put in charge of the students and you were supposed to be taking care of them. You were meant to. Be there to. Protect them. My daughter was put in danger because of you." He said to her as his tone was slightly raised.

"I know that and I tried to put a stop to it. I didn't ask for any of that to happen but I couldn't prevent it. I tried to protect Tina and all of the other students but before I could do much damage control I was replaced." She said to him.

"Well that is your fault because if you had been competent and if you had done as you were supposed to then none of it would have happened that way. This is looking poorly for you and it is trying to show how much competence you are lacking as a care taker and protector for the students. That was why you had given me no other choice. You had forced my hand and there for I had no other move than to get someone that I could count on to do it instead." He said to her.

She didn't like the fact that he seemed to make her seem replaceable. "well maybe if you had allowed me to continue then we wouldn't have found ourselves ending up in this mess. Maybe the students would still be alive and we wouldn't be trying to clean up the mess and try to explain to their parents what happened. Do you know how long and what it took for us to be able to put that report together." She asked him in frustration.
