Dick didn't blame his classmates and seeing as he didn't have any family or parents that he lived with due to the fact that he was an orphan he knew that the school had no one to contact to ask where he had gone to.
He decided to ignore the fact that no one had taken notice of his absence as he decided to focus his attention on making his way to class.
What had surprised him even more was the fact that the teachers hadn't realized that he was gone either. They seemed to be terribly unphased as they simply gestured for him to take one of the seats.
Gloria was the only one that had helped him as she told him about all of the things that he had missed while he was gone. She was the only one that was willing to help him out and he was grateful for that.
The only up side of him not having anyone who cared for him was the fact that he didn't have to worry about going on to explain to anyone where he had been and what he had been up to.
As Dick left his class he caught up with Tina in the halls. Gloria was relieved that Dick was back. Without him around she had been forced to endure relentless taunting from Tina. After the fight that they had Tina had continued to rub her win in Gloria's face.
Gloria delt as though she was losing her mind and the other kids were starting to make fun of her as well. "I am glad that you are back. Without you the school had been torture.
Tina has ween unforgiving with her attacks and she reminds me of how I wasn't as good as her art every chance that she got." She told Dick.
In a sense this was his fault but she chose not to blame him. It was he who hades pushed her to fight against tina and she still didn't know why. "I shouldn't have fought her." Gloria said in a low mutter.
Dick heard her words though as he stopped in his tracks and turned around to face her. He looked towards her intently as he grabbed a hold of her chin and focused her gaze on him.
"But you did it because of me. I know that you are better than her even if the school doesn't believe it and that is all that matters. You shouldn't allow yourself to be bothered by here teasing or y that from her mindless followers." He said to her and she nodded her head at him in response because she knew that he was right.
"I can't wait to fight her again. I want to wipe that smug look away from her face. And show her that I am better than her. I am going to make sure that she eats her words and that she knows that I am not one for her to mess with." Gloria vowed.
She wasn't going to stop until she had a rematch with Tina. This time she would be more prepared and she would make sure that she taught the girl a lesson that she wouldn't forget any time soon.
Gloria continued to talk about how she planned on taking Tina down but Dick stopped listening in after a while.
He had his own plan of how he intended to take her down and when he did he would do it in a way that she wouldn't think about taking any one else down ever again.
Dick was happy when he made his way to his next class which was a group wilderness survival program.
It was something that had been coming up for weeks now and he was relieved to know that him going on that quest hadn't made it so that he wouldn't be able to go.
It had been something that he had been looking forward to for a while now and he was glad that he had been able to make it back just in time for him to attend.
Dick had been studying at the GoodLatte school of magic for a very long time as well as its affiliate high school. He was now seventeen years old and he was set to graduate from the school next year.
But before the students would er deemed worthy to graduate and join the outside world they had to endure and survive a wilderness survival course.
It was one of the most difficult require courses that he had to complete in order to graduate next year and if he wasn't able to complete it then it meant that he wouldn't be able to graduate the rest of his class.
The old Dick who had been frail and skinny wouldn't have been able to get far in the survival course and the chances of him graduating had been ,ow but the new Dick was rising in his magical abilities and was sure that he would get through.
The course was a test of pro[er team work as well as endurance. Skills and would force for he and his peers to work together and not against each other.
He didn't know if he would be able to pull that off though as he didn't know how he would find it in himself to work in a civil manner with tina or for tina and gloria to work together without having to rip out oner another's throats.
They would he going into the heart of the wilderness and be gracing off against various beasts and learning how to defend together as a team as well as strategies a proper offence. A poster for the date of the practical course was posted on the notice board.
As Dick and Gloria went up to read it. Dick had to admit that there was a part of him that was somewhat excited to be able to show off some of the skills that he had acquired.
"Now this was what I was talking about when I was looking for a chance to exact my revenge." Gloria said to him as the only thought on her mind was how she would be able to use her magic to take out tina. and as though tina could read their minds she pulled them out of their thoughts when they heard her voice behind her.
"Way are you smiling Bull Dick. Ids it because this is one of those courses that you will have other people around to carry on your weight and you don't have to do any of the work." She said to him with a chuckle.
Dick didn't respond as he didn't dare to give her the satisfaction of a readdiction. "Dick is perfectly capable of taking care of himself and maybe it will be you who will need others to protect you." Gloria bit back.
'Last time I checked you are the one that I was able to effortlessly beat her ass up just last week." Tina fired back. Gloria was silent at that as she balled her hands into a fist. She knew that this was no place or time for her to make a scene and it was best for her to simply ignore her.
