The King of Scarecrows had a jolt.
It's not right.
There are big problems.
This man, how come he's so strong?
Is that a power a human can possess?
"Have a word."
The King of Scarecrows was bent at the waist and said, "I'll give you whatever you want."
"I want you dead." Elon said.
"Can ... change it?" Scarecrow was on the verge of crying too.
"What do you think?" Elon asked rhetorically.
"Together!"
It suddenly yelled, realizing that Elon wouldn't leave it alone if it continued.
The only way to have a shot is for the other scarecrows to come together and stall Elon.
Those scarecrows were unconscious and immediately rushed up when they were ordered to do so.
And the King of Scarecrows seized the opportunity to turn and run.
There is no fear of being left without wood.
Live to output!
"Don't even think about leaving."
Elon said, "I thought you wanted to kill me before, why don't you do it?"
He kicked one scarecrow at a time, kicking all of these scarecrows to pieces, and then took big strides, directly catching up with the King of Scarecrows.
The King of Scarecrows cried.
Really crying.
This man, how is he so powerful, so outrageous?
"Are you still human?"
"Are you an evil spirit, or am I?"
It busted right out, not caring about its image anymore.
Elon smiled faintly, "It's called evil."
With that, he reached out his hand and grabbed the scarecrow's head before giving it a firm squeeze.
With 999 points of strength, it directly crushed and flattened the head of the King of Scarecrows.
Killed on the spot.
Dead as dead can be.
But just in case, Elon followed the old rule of removing all the straw from the King of Scarecrows and preparing it for the fire.
"It should burn for a long time, right?"
Elon muttered.
Hearing this, everyone in the room was speechless.
They looked at each other, still confused.
"The King of Scarecrows with such high attributes died just like that?"
"That simple?"
"It feels like there's no difference between him killing the King of Scarecrows and killing ordinary scarecrows, huh?"
It's all straight seconds.
"Is he really a munchkin?"
"How can there be a munchkin so ridiculously strong?"
Can't get a word in edgewise.
Elon looked over at the still dazed crowd and said, "Back to you."
"Hurry up and clean up and burn all this straw."
Hear Elon's voice.
The crowd came back to their senses.
lvan came over nervously, looking very fearfully at the straw in Elon's hand, and asked, "Brother Elon, how is the King of Scarecrows doing?"
"Dead."
Elon said.
"Really?"
"Just die?"
"Really."
Elon nodded.
"Too, great." Lvan said excitedly.
Now she still felt that some now was a bit unrealistic and everything seemed like a dream.
The monster that made her feel infinite terror had died so easily.
Right about this time.
LVAN heard the quest beep.
"Congratulations on defeating the King of Scarecrows and successfully completing your mission."
"After three hours, all players will exit the copy."
"Rewards will be handed out at the end is."
The mission is over!
Lvan's eyes widened, if there had just been a hint of doubt, a feeling that he was dreaming.
Then now the game's beeps were telling her that what had just happened was real.
They survived ...
Even, through the pass.
"Isn't it our main quest to live through three days?"
TONY shouted with a shocked look on her face.
How is it that the mission is now over after only one day and one night?
"Because the King of Scarecrows is dead, I guess."
Elon explained, "There's nothing left that can threaten us."
"It's not hard to survive three days."
TONY thinks about it for a moment, which makes sense.
"Okay."
Elon said, "There's three hours left, so all go get some rest."
With that, he turned and headed for his house.
Get a good night's sleep.
When you wake up from your nap, you'll be able to claim the system's 100x reward.
The village chief looked at Elon's back with some awe, but in the end didn't dare to call out to him.
He looked to the villagers and shouted, "Clean this place up."
Yelled by him, the villagers came back to their senses and began to clean up the ground with their hands.
There was another man who walked up to the village head with the deputy head's human skin.
"Mayor, what about this one?"
The old village chief looked at the human skin with emotion on his face.
The deputy village head is not his child, it is his brother's. More than ten years ago, the deputy village head's father went into the mountains to hunt and was bitten to death by a tiger in the mountains.
So when the deputy village head grew up, he thought of leaving the village and leading the way.
Get out of this old place.
I didn't realize that he was dead.
The mayor reached for the human skin and said, "I will bury him with his father."
He no longer knew how he would face the deputy village head's father when he was a hundred years old.
But the skin was clean, the blood was gone from it.
Probably wiped clean by the King of Scarecrows.
"I wonder if I can ask that little brother to bring back his corpse." The deputy village chief muttered.
Elon has returned to his room.
"It's been a busy day and night, but it's finally over." Elon exclaimed.
Sitting on the bed, he was about to lie down.
The system's quest prompt, however, suddenly changed.
"Current mission: find the last monster."
"Countdown to mission failure: 2:47:28"
This change made Elon stand up immediately.
The last of the ... monsters?
King of the Scarecrows, not the final boss?
Who's that?
He began to think.
"There were two questions before."
First, why didn't the King of Scarecrows kill everyone.
Secondly, why did the King of Scarecrows bury people in the ground to transform them.
The answer to the second question is now known.
That would be for the scarecrow to take the flesh and blood and corrode the short sword, rendering it useless.
The first question, however, has yet to be answered.
"Maybe, because it can't be killed?"
Elon asked himself, "Why can't we kill?"
Because it works.
For what?
What is the point of keeping these people around, to use them as food?
Or ...
Elon's eyes lit up at the thought of the human skin.
Human skin has a shelf life, so it will rot.
"Because human skin rots, new human skin is needed for replacement."
Originally this may have been deliberately kept by the King of Scarecrows for harvesting human skins.
But now, the King of Scarecrows is dead.
And someone else is behind it.
He understands.
And the moment he figured it out, the system's beep sounded again.
"Current mission: defeat the human-skinned ghost."
"Countdown to mission failure: 2:45:19."
Only two and a half hours left.
But the good news is that the system is navigating, once again.
A distinct, only-he-can-see-it arrow surfaced, guiding him forward.
Elon left the room immediately.
TONY is sitting on the steps in front of the room's front door, looking at the village in front of her with an emotional expression.
Thought I wouldn't make it back this time.
I didn't realize it would all just end like that.
Immediately afterward he saw Elon.
"Brother Elon, where are you going?" TONY immediately asked loudly.
"Do a big job." Elon said.
"What's the big one?"
Upon hearing this, TONY immediately became interested.
"You want to check it out too?" Elon laughed.
"That's for sure." TONY patted her chest, "I'm brave."
