Han ji woo went into a state of trans forcing him to go back to his minds deep dark memories .Drifting through a sea of dark space he could see fragments of his memories flooting throughout , and one particular such memory approached him.
Drifting away at that mindless sea , suddenly with all his might the young man forced his hand and touched the small fragment .
Shuuuuu
"A sudden light completely filled the space and caused han to close his eyes ,as the light diminished ,han was again back to that specific memory.
Han Ji Woo found himself enveloped in a whirlwind of emotions as he witnessed this vivid memory.
It had been five years after the emergence of dungeons and hunters, a time when the world was blissfully unaware of the impending changes, as dungeons at that time only occured rarely and most of them did not have the monsters started to break out of them!"
And at that time new hunters also started to emerge all around the world , at they where not is such a large crisis after all it's been five years since they all came through and humans have evolved to the point were they have many hunters who can use thier powers in the field of technology and improve humanity using the many products they get form these dungeons .
Currently His family, intact and harmonious, gathered around the dining table, and the recollection brought a bittersweet sense of nostalgia.
His father, Han Seong Ho, sat at the head of the table, his stern countenance contrasting with the warmth he held for his family. Han Mi Sun, his mother, moved gracefully in the kitchen, her gentle smile a soothing presence in the room.
The twins, Han Hee Jin and Han Ye Jun, each bore their unique qualities. Hee Jin exuded an air of elegance and protectiveness, her icy exterior concealing a fierce love for her family. In contrast, Ye Jun radiated cheerfulness and vivacity, her laughter a constant source of joy.
Taking a seat at the table, Han Ji Woo was greeted by his father's no-nonsense tone. "Good morning, Ji Woo," came the stern admonition. "Punctuality is paramount, especially for a good start to your day."
Ji Woo nodded obediently, absorbing the unexpected warmth of this familial reunion. "I'm sorry, Father. I'll ensure I'm on time from now on."
His mother, Han Mi Sun, placed a steaming bowl of soup before him, her gentle voice a stark contrast to her husband's unease. "Don't be too hard on him, Seong Ho. It's a new day, and we should savor our breakfast together as a family."
Han Seong Ho's acknowledgment was a gruff grunt, yet his gaze softened as he observed his wife. In this memory, it was evident that she was the anchor holding their family together.
Amidst a heartfelt breakfast, Han Hee Jin interjected with a hint of seriousness. Her gaze pierced her mother as she spoke. "Mother, you should be stricter with him. Coddling won't prepare him for the real world."
Her words brought a momentary hush to the room, with all eyes on Han Hee Jin. Han Mi Sun regarded her stern daughter with a soft smile. "Hee Jin, my dear, showing love and care to your family is vital. We must support each other."
Han Ye Jun, the lively twin, chimed in, "She's right, Hee Jin. We need to be kind and understanding with oppa."
The discussion continued, each sister sharing her thoughts and concerns for their beloved brother. Han Ji Woo appreciated their distinct approaches, recognizing that everything came from a place of love.
After the heartfelt conversation, Han Ji Woo hastily finished his breakfast and prepared for school. His sisters accompanied him to the entrance, waiting for his departure.
Once more, Han Hee Jin couldn't resist offering unsolicited advice. "Oppa, you should lead a disciplined life. Don't squander your time."
Ji Woo chuckled, patting her head playfully. "Hee Jin, you worry too much. I'll do my best, don't you worry."
Her cheeks reddened, and she huffed, "Don't treat me like a child."
Han Ye Jun joined the playful exchange. "Hey, oppa, you didn't pat my head."
Ji Woo obligingly patted her head, eliciting a radiant smile from the cheerful twin.
With their playful camaraderie, they embarked on their day, knowing they were a family united through all of life's challenges.
Ji Woo cherished this moment, determined never to forget it, believing that life would continue as it always had. However, the tranquility was suddenly shattered as the sky above them began to crack and disintegrate, giving birth to ominous fissures.
Chaos erupted on the streets, panic engulfing the populace as people fled in terror. Ji Woo's battle-hardened instincts kicked in, honed through countless dungeon trials. Amid the bedlam, he sought his twin sisters, desperate to ensure their safety.
"Hee Jin! Ye Jun!" he called out, but his voice was swallowed by the pandemonium of screams and sirens. As he fought his way through the panicked throngs, the malevolent fissures in the sky widened, birthing dark, nightmarish creatures that defied all reason.
Ji Woo finally spotted his sisters, who were also struggling to navigate the chaos. He raced toward them, his instincts guiding him. However, as he reached out to protect them from the imminent danger, a colossal beast, resembling a minotaur from ancient myths, swung a massive boulder with horrifying force.
In a split-second decision, Ji Woo sacrificed himself to shield his sisters from harm. He shoved them away from the danger, but the impact of the boulder upon his body was devastating. The building beside them crumbled under the tremendous force, ensnaring Ji Woo beneath the rubble.
Amidst the suffocating darkness and the crushing weight of debris, Ji Woo's consciousness wavered, a flickering ember of hope. His body was broken, battered by the merciless force of the minotaur's assault. Pain was a constant companion, and despair loomed over his waning strength.
In that desperate moment, just as hope teetered on the precipice of vanishing, an astonishing event unfolded. A glimmer of light pierced the darkness, illuminating his surroundings. The rubble that entrapped him began to shift, and an eerie, frigid aura enshrouded him.
Through half-lidded eyes, he beheld an intricate lattice of ice forming around him, akin to a frozen cocoon. The ice, frosty to the touch, exuded an undeniable sense of protection. It lifted the colossal debris with a quiet, supernatural power.
And then, from the swirling mists of ice, a figure emerged, and Ji Woo's eyes widened in disbelief. It was his younger sister, Han Hee Jin, her usual icy demeanor intensified, radiating a cerulean, icy radiance. She looked down at him with a determined countenance, her fingers charged with frigid energy.
Without a word, Han Hee Jin extended her hand over his battered form, and her icy energy flowed into him, repairing his fractured bones and mending his torn flesh. It was a mesmerizing sight, the power of her ice magic weaving intricate patterns of rejuvenation across his body.
The sensation was both numbing and invigorating. Ji Woo could feel his body gradually regaining strength, the pain subsiding into a dull ache. He longed to express his gratitude, to utter words of thanks, but the world around him grew hazy, and his consciousness faded as the embrace of his sister's ice magic cradled him in its cold, protective cocoon.
After what felt like an eternity in a twilight realm between dreams and reality, Ji Woo stirred. His eyelids fluttered open, and the first thing he discerned was the stark white ceiling of a hospital room, its harsh fluorescent lights nearly blinding. It took him a moment to orient himself, to recall the hazy memories of the minotaur's boulder and his sister's frigid embrace.
His lips parted, and he whispered the names etched in his heart. "Hee Jin, Ye Jun."
To his astonishment, the room had only two men besides him , and they both had similar black suits on and a suitcase with one of them.
In the dimly lit hospital room, Han Ji Woo's heart was heavy as he listened to the two men who had come to visit. They began to recount a story of heroism, telling him about the extraordinary feats of his twin sisters and the astounding revelation that they were believed to be the first S-Rank twins in the world. His parents, too, held high-ranking positions among hunters.
Han couldn't help but feel a mix of pride and anticipation as he inquired about their whereabouts. "Where are they now? Can I see them?"
One of the men exchanged a glance with his companion before answering, "Han, the truth is, your family is in a delicate situation. The doctors have assessed your mana capacity using a high-grade monster core, and you've been ranked no less than an F-Rank."
Han's eyes widened in shock, "What? How can that be?"
The other man chimed in, "Your parents and sisters are considered high-value targets for many guilds. There's a risk they might use you to get to your family. For the safety of others and your family, we strongly advise you to forget about them and lead a normal life."
Han's anger flared,
"But they're my family! I want to see them, no matter what!"
The first man spoke sternly, "Han, please understand. You're an F-Rank, and they're among the highest-ranking hunters. Your presence could put them in danger. For their sake and the safety of many, you must distance yourself from them."
Devastated and confused, I asked if his parents had said anything about it. The second man handed him a sealed letter from his father. As I unfolded the letter and read its contents, my face fell.
"The letter was filled with words that pierced my heart ,father expressed how i was a burden and didn't fit into the family, with everyone else being so much more . He urged me to cut all ties with them and never acknowledge their relationship to anyone. In exchange, they promised financial support and allocated property in my name.
"Hahahaahahhaha ...
"I guess family and bonds are just in names"
As I processed my father's harsh words, his emotions welled up. In the end, it was about protecting the family name and people he card about and an f rank will onlybtarnish that i guess , even if it meant severing all connections with them. He laughed through his tears, understanding the situation.
The two men felt bad for Ji woo as cutting your ties with your one and only family is more than hard .
Before going the man gave han suit case with around 6 million KRW and a paperwork for the apartment they lived in .
As he recieved the suitcase suudenly ....
(Sound of glass shattering )
Suddenly the dream infornt of him quickly starts to break down like shattering glass before he knew the entire dream borke apart.
Ha ha ..... as he woke up form the memory while tears flowing down his cheeks ,around him in the sterile, white-walled hospital room, Han Ji Woo lay bewildered on his hospital bed. The lingering sensations of the dreamworld still clung to him, but now, it was as if the dream had never occurred. He blinked, trying to make sense of what had just transpired.
As his eyes slowly focused, he realized that the room was filled with doctors in their crisp white coats, their expressions ranging from astonishment to confusion. A senior doctor, bald and stern-looking, approached Han's bed, his gaze penetrating.
"Hey, are you okay?" " Why are you crying ?"
the senior doctor asked, his voice filled with genuine concern.
Han Ji Woo nodded, his mind still a jumbled mess of fragmented memories. "Yes,I nothing doctor" Ji woo wipes of his tears .
Without further ado, the senior doctor instructed a nurse to transfer Han Ji Woo to a regular room. Han's heart pounded as he was wheeled down the sterile hallways. The transition from the dream to reality was jarring, and he couldn't shake the feeling that something extraordinary had happened.
In the quiet confines of his new room, Han Ji Woo couldn't help but ponder the strangeness of the dream and the abrupt return to reality. He glanced around, the hospital room now appearing almost ordinary.
However, just as he was about to dismiss the dream as a figment of his imagination, a message materialized in the air before him, as if etched into existence.
"Host completed challenge: First part of Han Ji Woo's life. Please say 'continue' to move to open status."
Han Ji Woo's brows furrowed, and he stared at the cryptic message, not understanding what it meant or how it had appeared.
