Chapter 7 - Building Armor for Zombies

Point two.

It is itself.

In the midst of these last days, you never know which will come first, tomorrow or the accident.

This post-apocalyptic world is treacherous and not as simple as it seems.

The mutated zombie could take Zhou Qiang's life at any time.

Zhou Qiang was completely unarmed in the post-apocalyptic world in general as a scholar.

Keeping yourself safe becomes incredibly important.

The residential building that currently traverses the past has no protection whatsoever.

Any random mutant zombie could have rushed in and chewed itself up.

The location of this residential building is just on the edge of the city, and there are some survivors around from time to time.

Zhou Qiang is not afraid of the survivors, but the big deal is that we are all well water.

But with the presence of the survivors, many things are inconvenient for Zhou Qiang to act.

The zombies created are currently just at the bottom of the zombie scale, the most common, and not really enough for the survivors to kill.

Killing one would be a loss for Zhou Qiang at this stage.

What's more, the fact that he was able to create zombies was something that had to be kept secret.

"So have a residence that is safe and away from active survivor areas."

This seems to be above and beyond the importance of arming walkers.

The post-apocalyptic world is a world of genetic evolution.

Mighty zombies not withstanding, survivors can evolve to the point of transcendence.

Residence is one, how you strengthen yourself is equally important.

"The zombie manufacturing system can create all kinds of different levels of zombies out, and it's not a bad idea to have them protect themselves."

But an external force is no longer as strong as itself.

Iron sharpens iron.

It's a truism for all time.

But Zhou Qiang really didn't have a clue on how to improve his strength.

This zombie manufacturing system, until now, Zhou Qiang had only scratched the surface of some of its functions.

For more features, it is always presented as a guideline.

End times aside.

What's left is modern.

Two worlds could be traversed, and Zhou Qiang knew best what that meant.

The conversion of wealth is at your fingertips.

It's easy to be rich.

But trying to cash out, like today's gold sale, is the lowest way to go.

It's fine in the early stages, this approach is definitely not desirable in the mid to late stages.

"Technology is the first productive force."

At the heart of this sentence, is technology.

Think about Apple, with a market capitalization of trillions of dollars and a corporate reserve of nearly $300 billion, who can compete with it in the world?

Apple, a good illustration of what it means to be a tech money grabber.

Following this one thought, Zhou Qiang's eyes gradually brightened.

The level of technology in the post-apocalyptic world is more than thirty years ahead of modern Earth, and some technologies are even further ahead.

What would it be like to bring post-apocalyptic technology to modern Earth?

Perhaps Apple's supremacy, soon to be untenable.

The reason was simple, Zhou Qiang, who had the backing of the entire End Times World Technology, was far from being comparable to a single company.

Even a country, in terms of technology, was far inferior to Zhou Qiang.

The more Zhou Qiang thought about it, the more excited he became.

"Unfortunately, it's all just imagination."

Soon, Zhou Qiang calmed down.

Tech hauling is complicated and involves how post-apocalyptic how to organize all types of tech.

How to receive, and productize these technologies in modern times.

No matter how bright the future was, Zhou Qiang, at this stage, was still too weak.

......

The next day.

Zhou Qiang got up early in the morning and first sent a message to his supervisor to resign.

Just as Zhou Qiang thought, the supervisor was quick to approve it.

Don't want a monthly paycheck, and you're just a regular employee, who's going to keep you?

Zhou Qiang expected that Lu Yao would send a message to inquire about himself when he found out.

But as it turned out, no.

After breakfast, Zhou Qiang called a cab and headed to a small metal fabrication factory that he had found last night.

This category of small processing plants is usually found in the suburbs along the villages.

Half an hour later, the cab delivered Chau Keung.

Paying the fare, Zhou Qiang looked at a factory building connected by a ragged path and confirmed that this was the place before walking over.

"Now that we have money, should we buy a car first?"

This idea, appearing was dismissed by Zhou Qiang.

The two million dollars on hand at this stage seems to be a lot, but in fact, for Zhou Qiang, it is just a drop in the bucket.

Money, too, needs to be put to good use.

[Fuqiang Processing Factory]

Looking up at the name of this factory, Zhou Qiang pushed open the iron door of the factory.

There's not even a doorman here, so it's clear that this little factory is not having a good time.

Anyone else would have turned their heads and walked away from this lousy road at the entrance alone, and would never have gotten inside the factory.

But Zhou Qiang is different, he wants these remote factories.

After all, there's something really weird about what he's processing.

There was only one miniature minivan in the factory, and the sound of clanking metal on metal came from the plant.

Zhou Qiang approached and saw three men welding around a piece of metal.

"Who's the boss?"

Zhou Qiang shouted.

All three looked up at the same time and a man with a country face and rough skin stood up and said, "I am."

Accounting for the two to continue, the man walked towards Zhou Qiang.

"Little brother, what do you need to process?" The man took out his cigarettes, scattered one for Zhou Qiang, and introduced himself, "My name is Zhang Fuqiang, what's your name little brother?"

Zhou Qiang took the cigarette and clipped it to his ear and said, "Zhou Qiang."

First of all, I looked around, this factory building has about two hundred square feet, but there are only two workers in.

There aren't too many machines here, but most of them are down.

Seeing Zhou Qiang looking around, Zhang Fuqiang had a small amount of embarrassment on his face and smiled sarcastically, "The workers have all taken their vacation."

Zhou Qiang smiled and pointed outside, "Let's talk outside."

"Well well well!"

Zhang Fuqiang had a smile on his face.

As long as the client isn't picky, there's something to talk about.

When he arrived outside the plant, Zhou Qiang took out his cell phone, then opened the picture saved in the camera and said, "Boss, can you do it?"

Zhang Fuqiang looked at it, his eyes with a strange look.

This picture was, in fact, an equipment diagram that Zhou Qiang had gotten down from the game.

Instead of picking complicated equipment, it resembled the plate armor of ancient soldiers.

Zhang Fuqiang studied the picture for a moment, thought for a moment and said, "Little Brother Zhou, what are your requirements for the materials?"

"Lightweight with some hardness."

Zhou Qiang replied.

As the owner of the processing plant, Zhang Fuqiang naturally thought of what materials in the first place.

"It won't be a problem with aluminum, will it?"

Aluminum doesn't cost much, is lightweight and has decent stiffness.

The key is that aluminum alloys are easy to work with.

Zhou Qiang thought about it for a moment, this armor was equipped for ordinary zombies, and it should be enough to deal with ordinary zombies, or zombies of the first stage of mutation.

Their attacks are not enough to destroy the aluminum alloy.

Zhou Qiang nodded and said, "Yes, but I need armor that is easy to assemble."

"No problem."

Zhang Fuqiang agreed readily.

Actually, some of this really isn't that hard for a processing plant.

Especially after knowing that Zhou Qiang had no requirements in terms of precision and aesthetics, Zhang Fuqiang already had a number in his heart.

In the second picture, there is an iris-shaped shield.

"The shield, again, let's build it out of aluminum, but five centimeters thick."

Zhou Qiang thought for a moment and gave a figure.

For example, the height is at one meter and the upper width is at sixty centimeters ...

The shield is really no technical challenge compared to the armor.

The third picture, a Nordic axe.

In fact, Zhou Qiang didn't have much to say about the axe, and casually got a picture of the axe down.

Seeing this axe, the corner of Zhang Fuqiang's eyes twitched.

Before, Zhang Fuqiang didn't understand what Zhou Qiang was trying to do, but now that he saw the three-piece set, he understood in seconds.

The most popular thing for young people these days, is hand-me-downs.

Isn't the armor, battle shield, and axe in front of you just the kind of thing that young people like to toss around?

I've heard that there are also some young people who throw some kind of play party, wearing gear from various games.

Dare I say, this three-piece set is for some party?

"What's wrong with having money? You're just tossing around useless stuff."

Zhang Fuqiang felt a pang of contempt in his heart, but he would not show it, after all, Zhou Qiang was his customer.

It's good to toss some, at least he'll have a job to keep him busy.

This small processing plant, now in a half-dead state, God knows when it will close down because it cannot pay the rent?

After looking at Zhou Qiang's picture, Zhang Fuqiang waved his hand with relief on his face, "Older brother Zhou, these are not problems."

Of course Zhou Qiang knew the simplicity of the three-piece set.

It's for walkers anyway, does it matter if the design doesn't make sense, or if the edges are skinned or whatever?

There is no impact.

Zombies don't have sentience, they don't have pain nerves, they're covered in rot, and they're worried about dermabrasion?

Now that it can be done, the next step is to finalize the price.

"This is just the first batch, twenty sets will be built on a trial basis."

Zhou Qiang gave the number he wanted.

Zhang Fuqiang, on the other hand, was calculating the cost, and after several minutes, carefully gave a price, "A set is about five thousand dollars."

At that price, he's only making a 20% profit.

"OK!"

Zhou Qiang didn't count on this small amount of money and agreed to this one price.

At that moment, a deposit of thirty thousand dollars was given.

Delivery time is one week from now.

"I'm looking forward to what the zombies equipped with this aluminum armor will do when the time comes."

Longing for this scene, Zhou Qiang left the Fuqiang processing plant.
