Alpha Chul kept staring blurrily at Lilith's already dilated pupils.
"But your eyes... They are in shades of golden colours. Or are my eyes deceiving me because I'm about to die?" he asked weakly, his voice barely audible. His gaze remained fixed on her eyes, though they appeared blurry to him.
Lilith's heart ached as she heard his feeble words. She knew time was running out, and the urgency in his voice only intensified her fear. "You need to leave, Lilith. I've mind linked the warriors, and they will come for you," he urged, his gaze locked on her dilated pupils. Slowly, his eyelids closed, sealing his vision in darkness.
Tears welled up in Lilith's eyes as she cried out, "Alvin, please don't leave me!"
Determined not to let him go without a fight, she hastily removed his shirt, tossing it aside, as if shedding the weight of their impending doom.
