As Annabelle dashed through the hallway lined with soldiers, they refrained from ordering the soldiers to stop her at the exit door, showing respect toward their Luna. It wouldn't be right to do such a thing to her. If she needed to be alone, they would give her some space.
Emily, however, couldn't hold back her emotions. Tears welled up as she watched Annabelle hastily board her carriage. Her plans for fun and games during the conference seemed to have evaporated.
She clung to the staircase railing, crying, and gazed at the departing carriage.
She had prepared a special tent for their amusement, knowing that Annabelle couldn't sit all day listening to the sermon which would be preached in the conference. She personally prepared a tent so that they could carry out their childish meeting there.
