Overwhelmed by a whirlwind of emotions, I felt the world spinning around me. My body was shaking . Panic attacks had haunted me long before I entered this world from the trauma that my aunt imposed on me yet even now calming myself seemed impossible. But soon enough I felt a sense of safety, warmth envelopped me , pulling me away from the chaos. It might be Luc or Henry or even Father but I couldn't care less at the moment as I just hid my face into his chest. I sensed that my enigmatic saviour and I were finally out of the ball room but I just couldn't stop shaking as I remembered vividly Alexander's facial expressions, that bastard eyes held a fiery and proud look when he saw the embarrassment and desperation in my eyes as I stood in the middle of the ball room completely humiliated with wine dripping out of my dress. My unknown holder and I soon went further and further away from the lavish Ball room as the sound of classical music and whispers that held majoritarily ill attentions grew weaker and weaker. I heard a door open and close designating that the man and I just entered a room . Upon entering that room, my heart beats calmed down significantly but I was still shaking uncontrollably while thinking about that jerk Alessandro. Soon enough, my body came in contact with a soft mattress which I supposed to be a bed . I felt that the mysterious stranger sat behind me and without any notice , he pulled me and made me sit between his legs. Normally, I would have felt threatened by being this vulnerable alone with an unknown person but mysteriously I felt safe from everything in the world here in his arms. A hand started stroking my hair gently making me feel warmer and calmer.
I finally started calming down ,the shaking began getting less and less intense until it disappeared completely and I slowly drifted into sleep snuggling into his well builded chest . Before falling entirely into the hands of Morphée , I heard him saying " I'm sorry sweetheart. I don't know what has gotten into me . You are safe now sleep well my love" . His voice was oddly familiar but I just shrugged it off giving in to sleep.
Meanwhile at Duc's Charles Estate:
Charlotte was strolling through the hall way when she saw her handsome crush , the captain of House Charles Knights and the pinnacle of perfection .He was around 6,1 feet tall , had a muscular well built chest ,a six pack nonetheless, brown milky silky hair and almond shaped deep blue ocean eyes, a true eye candy. Sadness took over her again as she still rembered vividly how the young maid from the other day clinged to his arms while laughing melodically looking like his partner .
Thinking that he didn't see her , she continued walking and met Eliot ,a popular male servant known for his striking looks and playful nature a pretty close friend of her's. Eliot was a kind and sympathic guy , he had brown chocolatey glowing eyes and brown curly hair. Another trait of Eliot's personnality is that he loved flirting in a friendly way :
_Hello Beautiful , Eliot stated with a Wink
Feeling a surge of playfulness take over her after that depressing memory , Charlotte riposted
_Eliot won't you grow up already?
_Alright , Though excuse me Charlie I might fall
_Why would you fall you idiot? Are you sick ?, she replied with a hint of laughter
_I might fall for you , Eliot declared with a playful smirk
_You are making me sick , Charlotte added as she gagged
Ignoring that someone whom didn't appreciate his flirty nature much was eavesdropping on their conversation, Eliot added:
_And you are making my Dick stick
Before the poor Eliot could see it coming a blade was pointed on his throat. Who could it be holding that blade other than Charlotte's fierce crush Asher ?.The miserable Eliot managed to explain throught stutters that it was just a joke and fortunatly he was set free from Asher fiery anger the moment Charlotte backed up his claims . Eliot escaped running from there as he feared for his life but he still managed to tease Charlotte about Asher on the way by wiggling his eyebrows and mouthing the words POSSESSIVE ISN'T HE ?. By the time Eliot disappeared completely in the dark hall way , Charlotte was a blushing mess . Asher approached her , sneaked his hands around her waist and whispered in her ear " Honey you are mine and only mine . Refrain from talking to Eliot will you ?or would you rather see his head hanging around here ?" Charlotte nodded indicating that she will stay away from Eliot but it wasn't enough for Asher as he whispered with his deep husky voice into her ear again while biting her earlobe this time as a way to show his dominance over her " I need words my Angel " . " I won't .He is my friend and who even are you to order me to stay away from him " Charlotte responded with her usual sweet tone but Asher didn't seem to be of the same opinin as he remarked while biting her earlobe more aggressively:
_First of all, It's Ashy , Baby, Honey or Hubby for you My Angel . Now repeat what you said Would you ?
_ I won't stay away from Eliot Asher
she repeated while the butterflies in her stomach were swirling in all directions making her lose control over her knees and her heart was beating so hard that it could get out of her chest .
_ So my Honey won't listen. Well to bad for him he will die young , he replied with a serious expression
_ Ashy , he is my Friend , she declared to calm him down
_Well you have a way with words my Angel .
He said , took a deep breath then continued with a softer and gentler tone
_ if only you knew how I stopped myself from approaching you all this time to not scare you away . I love you so freaking much my baby .
he murmured the last sentence while snuggling into the crook of her neck but he didn't expect her to reply boldly
_Unfortunatly I love you too Asher , I love you too , she said with a mischievous smirk then continued
_ Though would you mind not letting people clinge into you ,I also get jealous easily
She added the last set of words as her face turned red with embarassment
_Easy there baby, I'm only yours
Asher responded while snuggling more into the crook of her neck and licking it making her flinch and say
_ Ashy someone will see us, she pleaded
_ I don't want to let you go yet . Let us just stay like this for some seconds .
Ashy commented with his head still resting on her neck inhaling her floral fruity rich scent while stroking her long hair with his free hand.
At that same moment Asher made a big decision that will surely impact their future significantly.
_Ashy you should join your room located here rather than your house in the city. You are to tired to go back right now, she claimed with a hint of concern
_ You sure wanna get rid of me Angel . Alright I'll go to sleep. I'll see you tomorrow
