"It's here again!"
The eyes that disappeared for a moment looked at Violet again, the gaze full of curiosity and expectation.
"Could there be really a winter ghost?!"
The thought was a bit disturbing, but in the end, everything was possible.
Just as she said it, Cassiel's back suddenly leaned on her and they both fell to the floor. To soften the impact he quickly turned over and protected her head from hitting the ground with his hand. They stayed silent with the wind howling in their ears, with their eyes shut tightly.
"Uhm, are you afraid of the ghost, too?" Violet couldn't ask but asked. He was fearless and the epitome of strong for most of the time, but everyone has one or two weaknesses they don't like to talk about.
"Not really," Cassiel responded calmly.
"Then, why are you clinging to me?" She raised her head and asked him urgently.
"Opportunity?" He chuckled back at her.
