As soon as Cassiel blasted a hole into the ceiling, he carried her to the surface with ease.
"Eeeeek! What was that?!" Violet was speechless. Even after landing on the ground, she still felt dizzy like the world around her was spinning. She held onto him tighter, as if he was the only stable point.
"If you could escape like this from the start, why didn't you do so sooner?!" She nagged. Looking at the hole they just crawled from, they must have been at least 100 metres underground. And he just jumped from that depth?! Was he even human?!
"I thought you liked exploring the cave…" Cassiel chuckled. Since it seemed she was having fun down there, he let her roam around to her heart's content.
"I was only looking at the exist!" Violet protested but it was no use. No matter what she said, he only listened to what he wanted.
