Blackwell was a child born to a courtesan. For a person working in this field, babies were nothing but a burden and he was soon abandoned by his own mother. Together with other children growing up on the street, he matured quickly and wasn't afraid to dip his hand in anything, no matter how dirty it was.
It started with pickpocketing and stealing food from the local shops to armed robberies and even murders. The child was exposed to all kinds of crimes imaginable before he turned ten.
But the boy was a bit luckier than others. He had a good talent when it came to picking a sword and after one of the brawls, he was found out by a nobleman.
Duke Belleville had a lot of knights, but he was looking for someone who would finish a mission without any questions, and the child with a dirty face seemed like a fitting candidate. He extended his hand and Blackwell grabbed it without hesitation.
