"You will spread the rumours like this, we are not at Ashford's castle right now…" Violet gave him a disapproving look. They were in someone else house right now and didn't have control over the servants. Whatever they did will be reported one way or another.
She walked into the room which was even better than she expected. They really went all out to make his stay comfortable. It was spacious and well aired, with tall windows that showed the garden. The furniture felt luxurious, and the colours were gentle. There was also the dressing room and bathroom, everything needed for a long-term stay.
"What kind of rumours?" asked Cassiel.
"You know… about us two and such…" Violet was embarrassed.
"But it's not a rumour, though? Come here…" He pulled her to the sofa and had her sit on his lap. "How are you?" Should I start a fire?"
