"One, two, three… I'm taking these," Violet confidently scooped the bottles with organs and body fluid collected from the chimera. The rest of the material not needed for elixirs, such as tough skins, fangs or claws was given to the knights for further use.
"Don't be greedy, we should divide it strictly in half…" The Sage clicked his tongue and took one of the vials back.
"I played the major role in getting that monster. Of course, I should be getting one extra…" Violet protested and reached for the bottle again.
"You didn't kill it, and I'm the one who did most of the job with that corpse… I should be the one compensated," the elder refused.
"Master! Don't be like this! I suffered a lot during the past day! Cold mountains, smelly beasts, and dangerous bandits! In my hand, that gall would find the better use!" She wailed.
"You and suffering?" The Sage raised his brown, not believing her at all.
