One of two knights barfed when the stench of poisonous beast blood hit their noses. Chimera had the tail of a snake, and just as it hated the strong and bitter smell of wolfsbane, the odour of its poison was just as distinctive and heavy.
"Captain… He is not attacking?" Victor was dumbstruck. There was nowhere to run, and they had no choice but to face him head-on, however, the divine wolf seemed uninterested in them.
"Where is Lady Doctor?" Sophia asked as she peeked from behind the vice-commander. The beast was standing there calmly, but the young woman was nowhere to be seen.
"Don't tell me… He devoured her!" The nurse was shocked.
"How can you say that!" Victor felt offended for some reason. "Captain, he is brutal, but he doesn't eat people!"
