On the other hand, Anjali had slept but Meera was unable to sleep. She was continuously thinking about Sunny, her first love. She called him 'Sunny' since childhood and never bothered to find his original name or probably forgot it.
One way of finding him would be the tattoo on his left arm. Looking at every man's left arm was impossible. She had a scope of knowing who Sunny was but had lost the chance too.
"Once I get to know Sunny's original identity, it will become difficult for me to stay away from him. Please don't tell me" said Meera to her brother Shourya, who had found his original name. This was probably four or five years ago.
Meera was lost in those thoughts.
Anjali was saying something in her sleep and her voice had brought her back to reality.
"Anjali, what happened dear? Calm down and sleep. Meeru is with you" said Meera.
"Be my Chachi, Meeru. You, me, chachu, Mumma, Daddy, and Grandpa will be a happy family. Dolly loves Chachi and chachu a lot" said Anjali in her sleep.
"Your Meeru never wanted to live the life she lives, dear. She is forced. The day she gets out of her grandpa's cage, that very day, she will be able to do something she likes. But that probably is never gonna happen…." said Meera. Anjali could neither hear nor understand Meera's words.
Meera went into a deep sleep. There were snapshots in her dreams of playing with Sunny, arguing with people, crying over her brother's shoulder, and someone lying in a blood pool. "Sunny," shouted Meera and woke up from her sleep. Just then the alarm also rang.
"Meeru..." said Anjali.
Meera held Anjali tightly and slowly calmed down.
"I'm sorry dear, I scared you," said Meera.
"It's okay," said Anjali.
They got dressed up together and went to school.
They both attended school in the morning, returned home for lunch, and finished their homework after lunch. Just as Anjali was about to grab the brain vita board, the doorbell rang. Meera picked up her shrug lying on the sofa, wore it, and went to open the door. It was Adithya. "Vik.." said Meera and Aadi interrupted. "Adithya," said he. He was there to meet Anjali as he didn't want Anjali to get scared , sad or left out in any manner.
Anjali wanted to have a call with Pallavi and Adithya agreed to it. Pallavi arranged her video such that Anjali had no hint of her mom being hospitalized. She spoke normally to her. Anjali went into the bedroom and showed her everything. She slowly closed the door and told her mom about the hug and was innocently pleading with her mom to make Meera her aunt. Pallavi promised her with a smile to try her best.
Adithya had no option other than to talk to Meera. As he adjusted his long legs between the table and sofa, the pen at the corner of the table fell. Meera bent down and picked it up with her left hand and adjusted the table with her right. This struck Adithya's mind. It reminded her of Shresta who had the habit of using her left hand for major tasks. She lifted her head and smiled. Her left cheek was having a dimple but her right didn't. Adithya's heart began to play a guitar. It was another feature of Shresta.
From here on, he started observing her very keenly. Every move of hers was reminding him of Shresta. Since had a different name, Meera, there was no chance of her being Shresta. He was getting carried off. So, he decided to leave the place ASAP and he did so. Meera was feeling Sunny around her and was going through an emotional turmoil.
After a while, Meera felt it was the need of the hour to forget Sunny and move ahead. Hence, she spends her day with Anjali.
That evening, in the hospital…. Adithya had returned home after meeting Anjali and Meera. "Vicky bhai… do you know where and how Shikar is?" asked Adithya.
"Shikar….? No, I haven't met him after Anjali's death. Why do you even want to know about a person who was absent at his girlfriend's funeral?" said Vikram. He was trying to behave normally by controlling his anger, but the sudden change in his eyes and voice made Aadi aware of the situation.
"Not like that, bro! Our little Anjali's teacher, Meera, reminds me of Shresta. I don't know why…. The mole on her neck, the way she takes a pen with her left hand then uses it with her right, every habit of hers, takes me to Shresta. I am not able to forget Shresta. I think I should marry..." Aditya wasn't able to complete her sentence as well. Vikram interrupted.
"Aadi, don't even think of speaking about marrying Shresta now. I know you haven't moved on. But, I'm against it. I advise you not to get into a family who couldn't value a girl's death and at least come to her funeral after eloping with her… I'm done and dusted with that family… Coming to Meera, if you want a marry her, I can go up to any extent to make it happen. It's your future and absolutely up to you ." said Vikram.
This was probably the very first time Pallavi had seen him going against his siblings' wishes. He was so angry with Adithya's wish that he left the ward as he would get so serious that he would shout at Aaditya. Adithya was going crazy when Meera was reminding her of Shresta. Adithya appeared shattered. He just was letting his mind out as he wanted to forget the situation but didn't want to hurt Vikram. His heart was taking him back to her but he could not go back and was still broken. He didn't want to marry Shresta but neither wanted to marry anyone else. He wanted to go and say sorry to Vikram but Pallavi held his hand and stopped him.
Pallavi asked Adithya, "Aadi, Shikar, If I'm not wrong, is Shresta's brother. He and Vikram were good friends, right?! What happened after her grandmother's death? How did you people break up? How is your sister Anjali into all this?" Adithya sat down on the stool.
