"Edwin…"
Terrence called Edwin's name as he got nearer. He stared at him intently. The feeling of pity rose to his heart. He felt suffocated as he watched Edwin in his current state.
He looked so helpless and lifeless.
Edwin was in a state of confusion when he heard someone calling out his name. He looked to the side.
"Terence?" Terrence's eyes widened. His jaw fell to the ground as he stared at Terrence, whom he hadn't seen in a while.
"W-What are you doing here?" He asked. He quickly wiped away the tears in his eyes using his hands before taking a step forward to face Terrence.
Terrence looked around. "I wanted to see how your grocery store was doing. I didn't know that…" he found it hard to continue his words.
Terrence was carefully looking at Edwin's reaction. He did not want to hurt him more with his words.
