Terrence woke up late. He sat on the bed and stared blankly at the wall in front of him. He was still sleepy.
Terrence grabbed his phone in a daze. His eyes were still half-closed. His forehead creased when he saw 3 message notifications on his phone's screen.
All of them came from Natalie. It was just minutes after he fell asleep.
[Natalie: Do you want to accompany your sister on the way to her school? I will be going with them, so you can ride my car with me.]
The next message was 30 minutes later.
[Natalie: Are you asleep already?]
[Natalie. It's late so you must be really sleeping already. Goodnight, Terrence. Have a good sleep.]
Even though Terrence was still half-asleep, he chose to reply.
[Terrence: Good afternoon. Sorry, I fell asleep. I read all of your messages. Can I still go with you?]
