"Nothing, Mom," Terrence forced a smile on his face. He did not want Tiana to further worry about him.
"Alright," Even though Tiana was not convinced with it, she silently nodded and removed her hands on Terrence's shoulder. She thought that he might not want to talk about his problem.
It's better to leave Terrence alone.
"How about you help us with this instead?" Tiana showed a sweet smile. She pointed at the pots and plates in the kitchen.
Archer raised the wooden spoon that he was using to mix the food on the pot, as if inviting Terrence to join them.
Terrence chuckled and nodded.
"Fine."
Terrence placed his worry aside. It has been so long since he has spent time with his family.
Terrence helped with what he could. He cut up some vegetables that would be used for what his father was cooking. It was a simple beef stew with carrots and potatoes.
