A new morning meant a new day.
Terrence woke up feeling refreshed. His mood was light, and so was the feeling of his body. The soreness of his hand and upper body magically went away.
Terrence looked at the time on his phone. Now he understood why he felt that way. He slept for so long that it was almost lunchtime already.
"What time did I even sleep yesterday?' he asked himself. He couldn't remember it. However, he knew for sure that it wasn't even 10 pm at that time.
Terrence stood up. He took his trash with him.
He went outside and saw that his parents were gone. They must have gone out together and didn't bother to wake him up since he was still asleep and his door was locked.
Straight ahead, Terrence went to the trash and threw the contents of the trash bin. He sanitized it afterward and put black plastic inside it.
