"So, what were your plans?" Bruno asked seriously.
'If I had received the heroes' benefits, they promised me partial freedom for my soul, allowing me minimal interaction with the outside world beyond that internal realm.' Ziz sighed heavily. 'I managed to preserve a single drop of my bloodline, fragmented and mixed with my bones... with it, I could activate the full power of the law and sacrifice myself to break that half of the seal.'
"What good would breaking the seal do?" Alm questioned.
'The items of the Primordial Chaos have their own consciousness, not as a spirit but as part of Heaven's Will; they act as extensions of it. Once freed from the seal, Heaven's Will itself could move it far away and hide it from the queen.'
