Alm and Bruno were anything but naive; not knowing the situation, they had left a rope ready to return. They had split a third of their divine souls and sent only that part through the array.
Then they simply detonated that portion of their divine souls without hesitation. Those four had powerful souls, but it was impossible to survive such an explosion. However, as they already knew, they would be reconstructed when time was reversed.
'Are they idiots?' Alm grumbled.
Even though they would return in time, the memories wouldn't come back the same way as for everyone else. They would probably investigate the explosion, and it would be obvious that an enemy caused it. But the information about the encounter with Alm and Bruno would be erased.
'That will give us time to act in the shadows until they discover us,' Bruno commented, while both looked at the two waiting for them.
