When the gates of the desert city opened, it was a tremendous shock to everyone, both newcomers and those who had already lived there. Some hundreds of half-demons, half-wyverns, and cerberi joined other hundreds of hybrids of various races, dwarfs and pure humans.
In no city or place that Alm and Bruno had ever seen in all their lives did they find such a great diversity of people living together. And most importantly, everyone remained united, and there were no major issues among them.
The number of people living there now doubled. But quickly, the new members were accommodated; the city had always been large, to the point that, currently, only a quarter of it was occupied.
