An immortal weapon was the highest level an weapon could reach in Alm and Bruno's previous universe. These weapons were called immortals because the weapon's core could connect with celestial laws after undergoing a celestial tribulation. After that, the spirit of the weapon was considered a living person, able to cultivate and enhance its body by absorbing other weapons.
By doing so, these weapons practically lived forever, considered fundamental weapons of a clan or sect, passed down from generation to generation, and regarded as the real leaders and minds behind everything. In Alm and Bruno's previous universe, there were only a dozen immortal weapons. They had the chance to have two, but they were destroyed by the hero with his sacred sword in the final battle.
