Krystal gritted her teeth, knowing full well what she had gotten herself into. If she didn't confess now, who knows what the princess would be capable of?
She'd heard how of the princess's tourney fights. She'd seen how enamored King Krayden was with her. There was no one who could save her.
There was only one way she could play this for a glimmer of hope. Krystal began to cry as she pleaded for her life.
"I didn't know any better, princess. Please forgive me. It was an honest mistake. I worry for our king, I worried about your true intentions with him so I wanted to test you."
She held onto Athena's hand as she continued to grovel and beg, "I realized how foolish I was. Please, princess, please I pray for your forgiveness."
