"He's not harmed me in any way, well not yet anyway."
"I don't like the way he looks at you," He muttered under his breath.
"Does it bother you? The way he looks at me?" Athena probed.
She was curious to know.
Nikolai flinched. He thought he had said that in his mind. Not loud enough for Athena to hear!
"I…" He didn't quite know how to defend himself either.
He curled his hands into fists, trying hard to piece his words together. Athena could not help but smile. She had never seen the knight so flustered before.
She eagerly awaited his response.
"Just stay away from him. What if he does something to hurt you and I'm not here to protect you? What happens then?"
Athena's expression turned to one of surprise and disappointment.
"You're not staying?" She asked, her voice was filled with heartache.
