Arthur spent a few hours inside his room and wrote everything he remembered from his dreams into the small booklet, including the smallest of details.
The booklet was filled till its last page as he finally leaned back on the chair and sighed tiredly.
"Sigh....this seems almost hopeless."
He rubbed his head in frustration as his eyes revealed fear of what had yet to come.
Even though Arthur knew what would happen in the future, he didn't have the slightest hope of ever surviving this apocalypse as every event was fucking dangerous making him feel like giving up already.
"Damn this. I should have joined some fighting clubs because even if I have these battling memories of my dreams, my body never went through those harsh actions and is completely clueless about anything related to fighting", he again sighed in regret.
As there was not anything he could do about it, he decided to not dwell on useless things and think about the future.
Clicking his finger on the desk repetitively, Arthur briefly glanced through the booklet and sorted his thoughts.
"The places that were hit severely by the apocalypse were the cities with high populations whereas the towns and villages in the outskirts were untouched making it a safe haven for many escapees."
This was the reason Arthur was calm and not in panic because the place where his parents stayed was far away from the large cities and had a very small population.
As for the other people whom he had met and talked to in everyday life, they were not very important to him considering he always distanced from people and stayed by himself most of the time.
It could be said that he was an introvert though he refused to call himself that as he wasn't shy or quiet. Instead, he simply didn't concern himself with others' opinions and found contentment in his own satisfaction.
Arthur turned the pages and continued reading about the events he had written.
"In the beginning, most of the humans start to turn into zombies for various reasons like bug biting, food poisoning, etc", he knit his brows.
"But the main reason for this to happen is the sudden change in the atmosphere in the sky. The many cities with high populations attracted the source of mana from the spiritual world and made it escape into the real world, resulting in the myriad of mutations and evolutions in the normal things."
Arthur interlocked his fingers and moved toward the desk as he continued.
"Yesterday should have been the start of the apocalypse as the sky turned weird and also when I started to feel unusual in the cafe, but what was the reason for it?"
He frowned in confusion but then shook his head as he couldn't come up with an appropriate answer for what had happened.
"Is it related to the fact that I started to have nightmares of this exact apocalypse happening?"
He was mainly confused about this matter, what was the reason that he got nightmares of the apocalypse like some prophecy?
"This cannot be a coincidence. So is there more to it than what I'm thinking of?"
Many possibilities went inside his mind as he silently pondered about the matter of the apocalypse and his nightmares being totally similar.
"Sigh..."
He let out a sigh as his mind failed to reach a concrete conclusion.
Closing the booklet, he got up and moved toward the window before opening it slightly and peeking outside.
"Just like in the dream, they start to get crazy when it gets dark....."
Arthur bit his lips, feeling a bit disheartened as he couldn't go out and hunt for more mana stones as it would get a lot more dangerous in the nighttime.
"It seems I have to spend the whole day inside my room."
He closed the window properly, walked out into the kitchen, and prepared some cup of ramen to fill his stomach.
After doing that, he went to the hall and exercised for some time, getting used to his strong body.
One, two, three.....he continued to do push-ups till he reached five hundred. Then he also did squats and situps.
"If I ran a dozen kilometers after this, then I'll become bald like some overpowered character."
Arthur shook his head chuckling and stopped training his body.
He stretched his body and went into the washroom to take a bath from the various sweat he had on his body.
Coming out refreshed, he put on some clothes and yawned while going to his bed.
"Let's sleep for today, I'll have to wake up early and start hunting more monsters to take their mana stones."
Arthur made sure to lock the doors properly and lay on his bed, relaxing his body.
Slowly, his consciousness drifted into slumber as only peaceful snores were left.
While the whole world descended into a state of panic and chaos from the unexpected apocalypse, Arthur didn't care about anything and had a deep sleep.
.....
White.
That was what Arthur saw when he opened his eyes feeling the strange change of his surroundings.
"T-This? Why am I back in this white space?"
He frowned and looked around the space, there was nothing in his vision no matter how much he searched except for white.
"There's not even a floor....", he said as he glanced down at his naked body and his legs that were weirdly floating in the air.
Suddenly, just after he had spoken those words, a white floor materialized beneath him, and his legs made contact with it.
"W-What the-!!"
Arthur was surprised at the magical scene that happened which made him feel stunned.
He stood on the floor and looked carefully at it, but it was just a pure white colored floor with nothing else.
Frowning, he recalled what he had said before the change in the space happened.
'I said that there's not even a floor......wait-'
Widening his eyes, Arthur thought of something and muttered.
"I should wear some clothes."
Suddenly, he felt something weighing on his body and when he glanced at himself, he was already wearing the clothes he had worn before going to sleep.
"What the fuck! This is for real.", he shouted in surprise when what he thought turned out to be correct.
Getting a bit excited, Arthur grinned like a kid who had found a new toy and started mentioning many things.
"Let there be a bugatti, a lamborghini, and a ferrari!"
And just like what he had asked for, several cars materialised infront of him.
Staring at the three shining brand new cars that excuded luxury and style, Arthur's eyes gleamed brightly.
"Wow, I can really create anything I can imagine in here."
His body trembled getting more excited as he approached the lamborghini and opened the door before sitting inside it.
It was the first time in his life sitting inside such a beautiful car even in his dreams, so he was feeling a bit nervous.
He touched the car all over making out the expensive feeling and searched for the key to start the car,
"Hmm? There's no key?"
There were no keys where it was supposed to be, but Arthur did not worry and instead spoke out.
"There should be the car key here."
A car key magically appeared there, which he turned and started the engine of the lamborghini.
"Vrooom!!"
The car's engine revved up making his blood boil in adrenaline.
His eyes gleamed energitically as he switched gears and pressed hard on the accelerator.
"Whoosh!!"
The lamborghini started moving forward and sped up to 200 kms within seconds, making his body tightten on the comfortable seat.
"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!", Arthur shouted feeling the sudden change in the force and hurriedly stepped on the brakes.
The back wheels of the fast moving car suddenly stopped and the car drifted around turning to the side.
When the car finally stopped, a stunned Arthur jumped out still feeling his body tremble due to the sudden shock.
"B-Bloody fuck! Who knew it would sped up so fast in a matter of seconds.", he sighed in relief, being outside that beast.
He turned his head back and stared at the place where had just driven from and saw the other two cars far away in the distance.
"How big even is this place...."
Arthur muttered and started thinking of what he could imagine next.
Suddenly his eyes lit up as he got an idea.
"Yes, let there be...."
