"We just came to stay here," Seth pleaded.
The man standing before Seth scanned from bottom to top, noticing with certainty that the equipment the man was wearing was beyond that of a beginner.
That indicated Seth and Alice weren't rookies, so letting them stay overnight would be bad for the group.
"What level are you?" the man asked, beginning to ask about Seth and Alice's level.
Getting a question like that made Seth and Alice look at each other for a moment. Alice seemed to shake her head, signaling the woman was reluctant to show the level to the man before her.
Seth thought the same. The man believes a person's level or game points are private. Not many people should know because it is a kind of self-defense.
If the two men who approached Seth knew Seth's level was high, they would be wary of the two and potentially kill Seth and Alice.
"We can't show those attributes," Seth said, smiling with a grin.
