"Damn, they didn't give me a break!" complained Seth.
He grabbed Alice's wrist firmly to leave the place immediately. Fighting with the spiders in an outdoor area like the rooftop would not work in their favor.
The two continued to walk away from the area until they reached the fifth floor, standing with their backs to each other, guarding their respective areas. Alice laughed softly, not a disdainful laugh, but more of an annoyed laugh.
"I just finished killing the rabbits; now the spiders?" Alice complained.
"Do you have a problem with it?" asked Seth, confirming.
"No, why would I?" asked Alice, her eyes sharpened.
"Just trying to be sure," Seth replied briefly.
The floor where Seth and Alice stood trembled softly until it became increasingly strong. Seth squinted, keeping his laser pistol pointed forward precisely at the open corridor window.
