After a few exchanges of words, Malachi joined the two on top of the van and sat with them.
After sitting, Malachi turned to observe David and Leo.
From the atmosphere he felt upon arriving and seeing the subconscious gestures David and Leo made with their faces and bodies, Malachi could tell that the two were in a good mood before he arrived. They were still in a good mood since the gloomy aura he was starting to get used to in the apocalypse was not currently present.
Malachi wondered what the two were talking about before he arrived. He was curious but he didn't say anything about it so as not to appear he was butting in on their private time.
Well, him coming to sit with them had already interfered with their private time, but asking about what they had been discussing was taking it to another level.
Silence reigned between the three for a while but it wasn't a bad one.
David was the first to break the silence.
