It was like Anna waited for David to be done with his food before speaking. What puzzled him was how she accurately knew when he was done with the food content in his hands without staring directly at him.
Subconsciously, David had a suspicion that his mother had an ability. Of course, it was only a passing thought.
The moment he was done eating, Anna turned to him and spoke.
"Let's talk," she stated.
David braced himself. He was ready for her scolding or something similar to it, but Anna did otherwise. She didn't scold him, nor did she reprimand him harshly. She asked more about his health in the beginning before moving to talk about the incident with his ability.
While Anna didn't quite understand most of what David had to say about it, she got the gist of it. In the end, she also discovered that David had been the one who almost killed himself, but like she started, she wasn't harsh to him. She was a little bit harsher but not by a large margin.
