When she woke up in an unfamiliar place in the arms of an unfamiliar woman, she didn't scream. Instead, Yuki turned to observe her surroundings first. She was in a car, a big one.
When she did not see her father, Yuki turned to look at the woman who had her in her arms and spoke.
"Big Sister, where's daddy?" Yuki inquired.
Mia stared at the little girl with sleepy eyes in her embrace and was lost on what to do. She didn't know what to reply with since she had no idea what was going on outside in the first place. She couldn't just say she had no idea right?
Just as Mia opened her mouth to speak with the intention of coaxing the girl in a roundabout manner, she saw her family make their way towards the car.
Momentarily distracted, Mia forgot she had a little girl to answer to and stared at her family through the window as they made their way towards the car.
