For some reason, after a few brushes with death against zombies, who looked slow and easy targets but actually had the strength to crush a man's head to paste, and a few monsters who wanted to have us as dinner, Yuki started to refer to me as papa again, something she stopped doing when she started the new term in school.
I had thought that perhaps she was being teased to be a baby to use such an intimate term by her age by her classmates, which was why she stopped referring to me as such. Perhaps I was right.
