"Yuki, come here," I said to my daughter, who was busy practising the moves I had given her.
"I'm not done yet, father!" The cute and angelic voice of my daughter reached my ears. The lass was only 7 years of age but she was as hardworking as a hardworking child could get. I was extremely proud of my Yuki.
I wish I could give her the best life had to offer, but alas, I'm nothing but a useless dad who has to live with his inherited run-down dojo that was almost out of business with his daughter while barely making ends meet.
I wish the world could just give me a new purpose in life to give my daughter a better world I thought with a sigh as I turned to check the time on the wall clock.
It was already evening.
Today was the start of the weekend, and Yuki was not going to school until Monday.
