Is nature taking over?
Malachi could not be blamed for thinking like this. At first glance, it seemed like only the places he concentrated on showed signs of green life. However, when he stopped the car and turned to look at the environment even more carefully than the last time, more details started to appear to him.
After scanning for signs of life here and there, when Malachi finally calmed down to observe the surroundings, he noticed the air felt much cleaner and fresher than the polluted and contaminated one he was used to.
Before the apocalypse, one could only get this level of fresh and clean air in the woods.
