It was an obvious step, but after thinking about it, Malachi could not help but be happy that he hadn't attempted to wake the man up first.
Had the man been conscious, there was a chance that Malachi would have not had the opportunity to observe the mysterious katana by a large length, which in turn would have not led to his new discoveries.
