It was the crystal heart that Leo and David had obtained from the unique zombie they had encountered.
Malachi still wondered just what zombie those two had encountered, since its appearance meant a few things.
For one, it seemed zombies weren't the weak creatures he thought they were. Perhaps they could evolve and grow as well, or something along those lines. Regardless of what it was, the fact that there was a strong zombie that could even put a certain amount of pressure on people like David and Leo was not a good thing.
If a zombie like that could exist, there was a chance another one did as well.
It really wasn't good news, but there was nothing Malachi could do about it, so the thought returned to the back of his mind.
